The short version. This application is used only by Blue Sky Fusion, Inc. to read its own accounting records. It has no public users and no customer accounts. The data it reads is the company's own bookkeeping data. It is never sold, never shared for marketing, and never given to anyone outside the company except the company's accountant and where the law requires it.
1. Who we are
Blue Sky Fusion, Inc. ("we," "our," "us") is a design and engineering firm in Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas. The Blue Sky Fusion Accounting Dashboard (the "App") is software we built for our own internal use. It is not offered to the public, not listed in the QuickBooks App Store, and has no sign-up process.
2. What the App accesses
With authorization from our own QuickBooks Online company file, the App reads accounting records including:
- Customers and customer contact details
- Invoices and sales receipts
- Payments and deposits
- Classes and divisions used for internal reporting
- Items, accounts and related bookkeeping records
These records are ours. Some of them contain the names and contact details of our own customers, which we already hold as part of running the business. The App does not add to that information, and it does not collect anything from visitors to this website.
3. Why we access it
- Day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliation
- Internal management reporting across our divisions
- Scheduling and service history for our piano service work
- A historical audit of our own records to correct and complete them
- Preparing information for our accountant and for tax filings
4. Read-only by default
The App operates on a read-only basis. It does not create, change or delete records in QuickBooks Online as part of normal use. Where a change to QuickBooks is needed, it is authorized specifically, one action at a time, by an officer of the company.
5. Who can see the data
Access is limited to owners, officers, employees and contractors of Blue Sky Fusion, Inc. who need it for their work, and to the company's accountant acting on the company's behalf.
What we do not do
- We do not sell any of this data.
- We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
- We do not send it to any third-party analytics service.
- We do not transfer it to any party outside the company, except our accountant, and where disclosure is required by law or by a valid legal process.
6. Storage and security
- The connection to Intuit is made over encrypted HTTPS.
- API credentials and authorization tokens are held in local configuration on company-controlled computers. They are excluded from source control and are not stored in shared documents, email or chat.
- Any data pulled for analysis is kept on company-controlled machines and in the company's own backups.
- Access to those machines is limited to authorized personnel.
7. How long we keep it
Accounting records are retained in QuickBooks Online for as long as the law and sound business practice require, which for tax records is generally at least seven years. Copies pulled into the App for analysis are kept only as long as they are useful for the work in hand, and are then deleted or superseded by a fresh pull.
8. Revoking the App's access
Because the App connects through Intuit's authorization system, its access can be withdrawn at any time from within QuickBooks Online, under the connected apps section of the account settings. Withdrawing the connection immediately stops the App from reading any further data.
9. Children
The App is a business accounting tool. It is not directed at children and is not used to collect information about them.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address and the effective date above will be updated.
